PROVIDER SURVEY: What do you need to provide the highest quality child care and education?

The North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) is currently working with the American Institutes for Research (AIR) on an Alternative Market Rate Study to inform potential changes to child care subsidy rates in North Carolina. AIR will make recommendations to DCDEE, who will in turn make recommendations to the state General Assembly.

Improving child care subsidy rates has long been a top priority for the NC Early Education Coalition, and we urge all providers to share input about what resources are needed to provide the highest quality child care where you live.

To complete the survey, you will need information about the salaries, benefits, and time off for your staff, facilities costs, and your thoughts on what is needed to attract and retain staff. The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. At the end of the survey, you can enter a drawing for a $100 Amazon gift card – ten winners will be drawn from among all providers who participate. Please use the buttons below to complete the survey by Wednesday, July 26 to be eligible for the drawing!
