The intent of the NC Child Care Status Review (COVID Impact Survey) is to document how your child care program has operated since March 2020 and is continuing to operate now. This survey provides an opportunity for you to share feedback with the Division of Child Development and Early Education (DCDEE) and other state policymakers so they may fully understand the challenges your program is facing, or how DCDEE and our partner agencies can support your program moving forward.
You can complete the Child Care Status Review online with your login ID and password at: https://survey.ncsu.edu/childcare/.
If you HAVE already completed your Review, THANK YOU for your assistance! If you have not already completed your facility's Review, North Carolina State University (NCSU) is attempting to reach you to complete it.
NCSU's interviewers are calling from a (919) 515-xxxx number. This is a legitimate call on behalf of DCDEE seeking your assistance. DCDEE asks that you accept this call or return the contact's message if at all possible. The call is being made to you to complete your Child Care Status Review (COVID Impact) survey over the phone, or to provide your program's login information so you may complete the review yourself online.
In early January, you should have also received a USPS mailed letter from DCDEE with information regarding the study. That letter included a login ID and password specific for your facility. (Program login ID and password information do NOT work for more than 1 facility ID, so please do not share those.) If you do not have this letter and would like your login ID and password to be re-sent to you, or if you wish to schedule a time to complete your Review over the phone, please email Ryan Hancock at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (919) 515-3211.
Again, you may complete the Child Care Status Review online with your login ID and password at: https://survey.ncsu.edu/childcare/.
A printable version of the Review is available at https://survey.ncsu.edu/childcare/final.pdf. If you choose to print and complete your program's information, please return that by fax to (919) 515-3642.
Thank you in advance for taking the time to provide this valuable feedback.
