Illuminate & Appreciate Garden

The Teachers' Illuminated Holiday Garden is a peaceful
sanctuary where everyone can honor our teachers, past
and / or present, who have illuminated all of our lives.

-This December, The Village Green will be lit up with roses and lilies, each representing a special teacher in our lives, or the lives of our children.

-You are invited to dedicate a flower to a special teacher, child care provider, or any educator, whilst making a contribution in Support of Partners for Children & Families.

Dedicate a Flower

Dedications are available for a suggested minimum donation of $20. Your flower will be added to the Pinehurst Village Green from December 1, 2024 to January 6, 2025.

Visitors can make a donation and dedicate a flower at our office daily between 9am-5pm or by visiting our website.

*Please note, the illuminated flowers remain on the green for all visitors to enjoy and are not distributed individually.

Why support?

Teachers, childcare providers, and educators are the unsung heroes of our society, shaping young minds and nurturing future leaders. They inspire curiosity, instill values, and provide the foundation for a bright future. Teachers are the radiant flowers of our educational journey, illuminating the path to knowledge, growth, and a bright future.

The proceeds of this fundraiser will support children, our most precious resource, In Moore County, 16% of children live in poverty, 17% are food insecure, 12% have severe housing problems and barely 50% are on track for college and career readiness.

Your Dedication will support:

Early Education Excellence: With your support, we can develop and implement innovative early childhood education programs that are accessible to all children in Moore County. These programs are customized to meet the specific needs of children aged 0 to 5.

Literacy Support: We believe that literacy is a fundamental skill that opens doors to knowledge and personal growth. Our literacy programs are designed to instill a love of reading and storytelling in young minds, helping them develop essential literacy skills.

Comprehensive Family Resources: We understand that families play a crucial role in a child's development. Therefore, we offer a wide range of resources and support to parents and caregivers, including parenting workshops, diapers and car seats, and access to community services.
