E-Blast: Support for early educators and families with young children

Good afternoon, Moore County!

The team at Partners for Children & Families is here for you and wants to help you navigate the many changes and challenges you face related to COVID-19. Here are a few ways we can support you:

Caregivers with Young Children

  • Is the current disruption in routine and worries about the future affecting how you interact with your young child? Want to bring more peace to your home and family? FREE one-on-one parenting support is available over-the-phone for any Moore County caregivers (parents, guardians, grandparents, etc) raising young children under the age of 5. Book a session on our Facebook page or email datherton@pfcfmc.org.
  • Do you need child care? Our staff is in continuous contact with local child care facilities and is keeping an updated log of child care spaces available for young and school age children. Email us at info@pfcfmc.org or leave a message at (910) 949-4045.

Early Educators

  • Are you having a difficult time finding critical supplies for your child care program? Let us know and we will work to connect you with the appropriate resources - food, cleaning supplies, etc - and act as an advocate on your behalf. We are in communication with Moore County emergency management services and will do our best to help you troubleshoot any issues. The quickest way to reach our staff is info@pfcfmc.org. You can also leave a message at our office at (910) 949-4045 and we will get back to you as quickly as possible.
  • The NC Division of Child Development and Early Education has released several memos in the last week regarding updated child care policy and regulatory requirements, weekly reporting expectations, and sanitation standards. We are compiling all of these DCDEE updates for you and posting on the Latest News section of our website. Take a look at reach out with any and all questions!
  • Want to learn more about how other local child care facilities are managing these changes? Join our Facebook group for Moore County Early Educators and join the conversation!
