Dear Child Care Provider,
After October 13, 2020 (TODAY), child care providers will no longer need to enter information into the Child Care Provider Survey on a daily basis.
Beginning Wednesday, October 14, 2020 (tomorrow), you will begin entering in service status, capacity, and vacancy information on a weekly basis into the Provider Profile Portal, which was launched earlier this year by the NC Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) Council. The data for your child care center or home will need to entered every Wednesday going forward beginning October 14, 2020, as this information will continue to be used to match families in need with available care options and inform decisions about programmatic and financial policies to support child care programs, as well as PPE supply orders. DCDEE hopes that by reducing the frequency with which you report information, as well as streamlining it by adding it into the Provider Profile Portal, the process will become easier. You will also begin receiving weekly reminders to enter in the information. These reminders will be generated through the Provider Profile Portal.
As a reminder, the Quick Start Guide contains instructions on logging into and using the Provider Profile Portal. Please refer to the NC Weekly Provider Status, Enrollment, and Vacancies document for step-by-step instructions on how to enter the weekly data.
